Dr. Sandra Pather

Dr Sandra Pather obtained her MBChB degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1992 and completed her internship and specialist training at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town.

Her experience includes  paediatrics, primary care clinics,  emergency units, public health medicine and   general practice in Cape Town. She worked as a dermatologist at the UCT Skin and Hair Centre before starting a practice in Claremont in Cape Town’s southern suburbs in 2011. In her appointment as a Senior Lecturer at UCT Division of Dermatology, she consults at the Combined Skin Oncology Clinic and is involved in undergraduate and post graduate dermatology training.

Dr Miranda Penny

Dr Miranda Penny is a specialist dermatologist. She graduated with an MBChB from the University of Cape Town in 1990. She then gained experience in paediatrics, surgery, general medicine and emergency medicine in South Africa, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. In 1997, she commenced her specialisation in Dermatology at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, where she continued to work as a consultant dermatologist after completing her specialization. In 2004 she started working as a dermatologist in private practice. In private practice she enjoys working in all areas of dermatology, including adults and children, assessing patients for skin cancer and does all minor surgical procedures to remove skin cancer and benign lesions.
